As the Head of Art at Treasure, I acted as the Creative Director for our game world map initiative — one of the most visible and foundational creative efforts to date. I was responsible for defining the vision, layout, and storytelling goals of the map, ensuring it supported both gameplay functionality and immersive world-building.
My role focused on planning the visual hierarchy and structure of the map, including the placement of key landmarks, player experience flow, and narrative significance. I collaborated closely with our UI Designers and Narrative Director to make sure each region served a purposeful role within the broader player journey.
The final visual execution was realized in partnership with Concept Art House, with Lyall and his team bringing the vision to life. I led this collaboration by providing high-level direction, creative feedback, and final approvals to ensure alignment with our internal goals and aesthetic standards.
While the world map was a major public milestone, it represents just one piece of a much larger, behind-the-scenes creative effort. Together with two of my core team artists, we’ve been developing a highly ambitious PFP collection — a deeply visual, lore-rich initiative that reflects our studio’s personality and vision. Though internal pivots and reorganizations temporarily delayed its debut, we’re continuing development and hope to release it in 2025. As a small and passionate art team, we’re eager to share more of what we’ve been quietly building.
